Indication for Use

Application
1. Prepare the Patient
Ensure the patient is standing or sitting upright. The patient should wear a light cotton undershirt to prevent skin irritation.
2. Position the Brace
Place the back panel of the brace against the patient’s spine, ensuring it aligns with the thoracic and lumbar region. The shoulder straps should rest over the shoulders.
3. Secure the Shoulder Straps
Bring the shoulder straps over the shoulders and cross them at the back. Fasten them in the front using the buckle or Velcro. Ensure they are snug but not too tight—they should pull the shoulders back for good posture.
4. Fasten the Abdominal Belt
Wrap the abdominal belt around the waist and secure it in the front. Adjust the tightness to provide firm support without restricting breathing.
5. Final Adjustments & Comfort Check
- Ensure the brace fits snugly but does not cause pain or pressure points.
- The shoulder straps should pull the shoulders back, encouraging proper posture.
- The abdominal belt should support the lower back without being too tight.
- The patient should be able to breathe and move comfortably within limits.
